Open RP-'Shades of Grey'

Wally sat on the bench of the craft service tent, whistling to himself. He'd been drawing for the last hour and he thought his stick figure looked quite dashing. He leaned back admiring his work.
"... Maybe I should just give up music and become an artist" he said with a grin. He put the pencil down and flexed his fingers, grimacing when he felt how stiff they were. "ouch... Or maybe not"

Wally got up from the bench, managing not to trip over his feet for once. He stretched his legs before turning around, catching his reflection in the window. He furrowed his brow. Something was off with his 'fro... Was that a grey hair?! His eyes widened in horror. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Manda's guy-watching was abruptly interrupted by Wally's screams, and she jumped. After calming down a bit ("What is WITH these weirdos scaring the **** out of me?!?"), she turned to the boy and raised a brow. "Um... Are you okay..." She couldn't remember his name. Wasn't he Zack? Or was that the squirrel kid? "Hun?"

Wally turned around, keeping his hand firmly pressed over the 'grey hair' in his 'fro. " uhhh... N-nothing... My hand just cramped really badly... Heh" he didn't want a pretty girl to see him this way. He started edging backwards towards the door, his hand still on his forehead. Unfortunately, his tendancy to trip over thin air returned and he stumbled, falling to the ground

Manda giggled a bit. She knew it'd probably make her look bad, but good LORD this kid was so pathetic! She just couldn't contain her laughter! Nonetheless, she stood up and walked over to him, holding out a hand and smiling. "Need a hand?" Ever helpful, ever charming Manda was convinced she could win him over in a few mere seconds.

Wally reached out to take her hand, but quickly pulled it back. It was too risky, so might see the hair. "thanks, but I wouldn't want you to pull a muscle or something" he winked. He clumsily got to his feet, using his free hand. He then leaned against the wall with his free hand, trying to look cool and casual. " so, come here often?"

She smirked; this'd be just too easy. "Well, considering I'm a contestant, yes. You're a contestant, too, aren't you?" She giggled. "Guess we'll be seeing a lot more of each other~" The kid was still clutching his head for some reason. had he hurt himself or something...?

"ooh, right!... Well then, do you come to the craft service tent often? I think I'd remember a face like yours... You can get to know me anytime" he was trying his best to sound suave, all the while keeping his hand on his forehead, not considering that it probably looked ridiculous. " And yeah, I'm a contestant. Lucky me right? Surrounded by beautiful girls all the time?"

Manda kept right on smirking that flirty smirk. "Believe me, you and I will get to know each other very well~" She stroked the hand that Wally had clamped over his 'grey hair' and pouted. "Did you hurt yourself when you fell? Poor baby~"

"no, I'm fine, healthy as a horse" he grinned... And widened his eyes when he realized she's touching his hand. " Uhh... I'm just thinking? Yeah that's it." he smiled awkwardly. It's normal to do that when you're thinking right? It seemed reasonable enough to him.

"I'm thinking that if I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together" the classic lines always work... Well, they hadn't for wall so far, but he was sure they would soon.

OH GOD. That LINE. How pathetic can you get?!? She stifled her laughter and ran her fingertips along his arm. "Not a bad thought, Mr..." She giggled. "I'm sorry, but I can't seem to remember your name. Remind me?"

"Turner. Wallace Turner" girls always fell for the 'James Bond thing'. " but you can call me Wally~" forgetting a about the grey hair, he took his hand off his forehead, the peice of lint that was supposedly 'the hair' coming with it. " and you're Manda, right?"

She smirked again, not noticing the lint. "Manda Brooks. Ever so pleased to meet you, Wally~" She held out her hand for either a handshake or a kiss. Manda liked judging people based on handshakes, but a kiss on the hand can tell you just as much about a person.

completely oblivious to 'the kiss' idea, he stuck his hand out a little too eagerly. He was already shaking her hand before he realized he was using the hand he'd had been covering the hair with. He let out a gasp "Oh no!"
